This vibrant chocolate collection was inspired by Mayan culture. Chocolate was believed to be among most valuable of currencies in the culture and was often referred to as the “candy of the gods”, or Dulce De Dioses. The series features three traditional Mayan chocolate flavors including chipotle chili, cinnamon, and vanilla.

Elements adopted from the unique culture included patterns, type, and hieroglyphs. The most dominant icon is the Mayan chocolate god himself. With this art being in the public domain, the cultural representation was simplified and developed to work as an icon or as part of the logo for the brand.

To match the vivacious Latin American spirit, each flavor has been given a bright color in accordance to their flavor along with an identifiable hieroglyph-like mark featuring its key ingredient. To add to its prestige in Mayan culture, the chocolates are wrapped in gold foil.
