The #RefugeeStrong campaign is directed towards women; they are often left alone with families to look over and with little help or resources. This campaign aims to empower and assist refugee women in the US and abroad.
The face of the campaign features a poised Muslim woman with the statement "We are strong" written in Arabic and the English hashtag "#refugeestrong". The Arabic text better communicates and relates to the target audience. The colors are vibrant to help create a positive optimistic vibe for this sensitive topic.
The brand was developed into a website prototype which includes links to resources, success stories, and a blog. The goal is to create an online community for refugee women to connect and seek help whether they are in the United States or abroad. They, as well as supporters, can also shop for branded goods like mugs and buttons to help raise money for the cause.
